Coral Reefstoration Ghana

Training a new generation of marine conservationists to care for our oceans

Coral Reefstoration Ghana is a registered NGO based in Accra, building local capacity and training a new generation of marine conservationists to care for our oceans, through hands-on restoration, research, and education. We are bringing together conservationists, scientists, divers, storytellers, and community leaders to revive Ghana’s underwater ecosystems.

The Dive Lab

In 2025, we launched Ghana’s first ever Dive Lab to train Ghana’s scientists and conservationists with the diving skills needed to study and protect local marine ecosystems.

Ocean Education

We are training teachers and students with our ocean literacy curriculum and practical marine education experiences to foster a new generation of ocean ambassadors committed to protecting Ghana’s marine ecosystems.

“If we truly want to change the narrative of who tells our stories beneath the waves, we must remove the barriers that keep Africans from accessing the underwater world.”

Our local coral reefs support biodiversity, traditional local economies, and protect communities from coastal erosion.
